Potassium xanthate Potassium (sodium) butyl xanthate is used as a collector reagent in the flotation of ores of heavy non-ferrous metals, ores of noble and rare metals, native copper. It is effective for the flotation of all sulfides, as well as oxidized minerals of lead and copper after their sulfidization in the hydrometallurgical industry. Potassium butyl xanthate (C5H9OS2K) is produced by the method of interaction of alkali, alcohol and carbon disulfide. The production technology and main physicochemical properties fully comply with the requirements of TU 2452-292-00204168-2000. The substance is a basic reagent for the mining industry (used in flotation processes) and in the production of rubber products. Chemical formula: C5H9OS2K (potassium), C5H9OS2Na (sodium). Packaging: Potassium (sodium) butyl xanthate is packed in bags of 40 kg net or in a metal drum of 120 kg net. It is stored in the manufacturer's packaging in closed, cool, ventilated warehouse premises. Transportation: It is transported by all types of transport, in covered vehicles, in accordance with the rules for cargo transportation in force on the transport of this type. Shelf life: 12 months from the date of manufacture.
