Key specifications of SHARKMETAL BIMETALL M42
The blade base of our bimetal band saw is made of elastic spring steel manufactured by "Bohlerstrip" (Austria). Profiled wire made of high-speed steel manufactured by Erasteel (France), powdered HSS with 8% cobalt and 9.4% molybdenum, is welded to the blade base using laser technology, after which the saw tooth profile is milled, thus forming the cutting part. A unique heat treatment technology solved the problems of S-shaped blade bending, which increases stability and cutting efficiency (patented technology). The pitch between teeth is variable or constant; the distance depends on the width and thickness of the selected blade, as well as the standard tooth set. The hardness of the cutting edges of the teeth reaches 67.5 – 68.5 HRC.
Applications: at metalworking enterprises, universal use, single and bundle cutting, solid material and profiles, for cutting large cross-sections, woodworking
Material: for processing medium-carbon alloys with a strength limit up to 45 HRC, tool alloyed, structural steels, aluminum, copper, stamped steel, molds and other non-ferrous metals, alloys, wood
