XanFlex biopolymer for drilling fluids

A natural polysaccharide with a high molecular weight, consisting of glucose, mannose and glucuronic acid. It is a fine-grained powdery material from white to cream in color, with solubility in water calculated on an absolutely dry technical product of at least 97%, and a moisture mass fraction of no more than 3%. It imparts thixotropic properties to the solution, thereby ensuring sufficient wellbore cleaning during circulation and preventing mud stagnation in a static state. It is used as a weighting agent (holding rock particles in suspension) for water-based drilling fluids, varying from fresh, sea and salt-saturated water, gypsum and calcium chloride/polyacrylamide solutions, non-contaminating solutions, low-solids polymer systems and dispersed systems in which it is necessary to maintain pH below 11. ✔ Easily disperses in fresh water and salt solutions ✔ Improves the plastic properties of drilling fluids ✔ Resistant to mono- and bivalent cations ✔ Reduces the risk of damage to the productive formation
