Bentonite powder

Bentonite powder from the Tagan deposit is considered the best in Kazakhstan in terms of its properties. It is a product of drying and fine grinding of bentonite clay, which has retained its colloidal-chemical properties. Bentonite powder is also called clay powder and has advantages over other lump clays. Rapid and complete swelling of the contained particles occurs in it. As for transportation of clay powder, it is cheaper compared to the same bentonite clay. The quality of bentonite powders primarily depends on the raw material (clay), as well as on the method of its technological processing. Thus, during technological processing, calcined soda with acrylic polymers should be added, which will improve the quality of the concrete powder many times over. Bentonite is a type of clay consisting of more than 70% of the mineral montmorillonite. Montmorillonite is a mineral of the aluminosilicate class, having an exceptionally small particle size, approximately 10 times smaller than particles of other clays. Such particle size of montmorillonite allows it to effectively interact with water molecules, creating an effective drilling mud.
