Lead red lead The raw material for obtaining lead red lead is lead. Application Lead red lead is a technical lead oxide. Lead red lead, depending on its purpose, is produced in the following grades: G-1 – for orange lead chrome, lead crystal, crystal glass and electroceramics; G-2 – for yellow lead and lead-molybdate chromes, driers, polyvinyl chloride stabilizers, reinforcement and rubber products; G-3 – for batteries and electro-carbon products; G-4 – for rubber; G-6 – for electro-vacuum glass, lead crystal and crystal glass. The appearance of the product of grades G-1-G-4 is a yellow powder of various shades, G-6 – reddish-brown granules. Safety requirements Lead red lead, in terms of its effect on the body, belongs to substances of the 1st hazard class. Packaging Lead red lead is packed in soft specialized single-use containers, steel flasks and drums, wooden barrels, plywood drums with liners made of paper, laminated bags or with a polyethylene liner bag. Transportation, storage When transporting lead red lead packed in soft specialized containers in open vehicles, the containers must be protected from atmospheric precipitation by tarpaulin or other waterproof materials. Lead red lead is stored in closed warehouse premises. Moisture must not get into the product. Guaranteed shelf life of the product for grades G-1, G-2, G-3 and G-4 – 6 months; for grade G-6 – 12 months from the date of manufacture.
